Whitcher Plumbing & Heating has been installing and servicing residential and commercial plumbing and heating/cooling systems for over 42 years in Southeastern Michigan. Founded by lifelong Lenawee County resident Cassius Whitcher in 1982, Whitcher Plumbing & Heating has grown to a full-service plumbing and heating business satisfying thousands of customers in Southeastern Michigan.
Whitcher Plumbing & Heating expanded operations to our current location, 1500 W. Maumee Street in the heart of Lenawee County in 2001. Whitcher has emerged as one of the largest plumbing and heating companies in the region. If your home was built in the last 40 years in the surrounding area, there's a good chance that Whitcher Plumbing & Heating was involved.
Built on a foundation of integrity and efficiency, Whitcher Plumbing & Heating is proud to have serviced over 20,000 households and businesses and to work with many of the same top builders for over 40 years. Our commitment to continuous improvement spans to providing ongoing training, development and certification of our technicians. Many of our experienced employees have been with us over ten years. In fact, our average employee’s tenure is over seven years, twice the national average. All employees are carefully screened and trained to respect you and your home. Our friendly techs will protect your property by using shoe protection “ShuBees", soft sided tool bags, carpet floor runners and drop clothes. They also make sure to thoroughly clean up after themselves. Our policy is to leave your home as clean, or cleaner, than we found it. Ongoing training is provided for all employees from apprentices to our most experienced techs. This training can be as intense as factory certification for the latest technologies to how to deal with a stubborn part.
